it took me 40 (forty!) minutes to get him down the way it's shown on my youtube page. there's no doubt in my mind that he was left beatable by mistake - the smoke bomb is ment to be used. so, the "glitch" is in being able to KO him in the first place, not in being unable to loot the key if you KO him ;). - So being unable to loot him IS the glitch? Phew! I wasn't sure. There's also a note on the DF Trainer that, if you use God mode, KO'ing Mr Yiru stalls the game. - wandrew 13:14, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- um... i'm not sure i understand you here. you CAN'T loot the key - that's for sure. i downed him two times: first his body fell into the wall and couldn't be interacted with, second i could see the body but there was only "examine" option available for it and zoe would just say "i need to get close to toss a knoch out potion at him", but no "hand" option to loot the key. unfortunately, the save file with Yiru down along with a higher resolution movie i made went poof when my old hard drive died, so the only thing that remains is that youtube vid - feel free to do whatever you want with it. - Yeah, that's what I meant. It's been so long since I played the game I've forgotten what Zoe was trying to do. - wandrew 13:31, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, in context, it looks like that YouTube vid is supposed to illustrate how you can't loot the keys afterwards, not poking him to death. I generally don't like gameplay vids on wikis for copyright reasons; though to be honest, taking so long to put this guy down is questionable as to its level of 'gameplay'. :) Trailers are okay, big swathes of the game like GazArt's vids are not. I'll think about it. --Tullis 13:49, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- oh. my. god. i couldn't see that wandrew actually embedded it in the page, because youtube is proxy-disabled at my work. so, NO, in the name of all that's warm and fluffy, don't leave it that way - let's either have a link pointing to youtube, or - better, imho - combine all this stuff together in a separate page or even a set of pages under special "easter eggs, glitches, etc."-like category. LLlaxmep 17:06, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Man, we need like 2 extra pages for each page. An article, a speculation, an easter egg page, and then a talk page. And I doubt it's possible to change that stuff... We could just throw it all into the talk page, like at the top or something...--cong06 17:58, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- for each page? what for? there are very few articleas that actually have easter eggs or stuff like that assocoated with them, so no need to make it so overly difficult. make an eater eggs category, separate article for each one, and link all this stuff together - simple as that. LLlaxmep 19:01, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- ah, i see. i keep sonfusing "articles" and "pages". so, yeah, no more "pages" - an article for each easter egg, a category, and appropriate links, just that. LLlaxmep 19:06, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Specifically what I meant was a "tab" on the page, so it's not really a separate page. Just like "Talk" is directly connected to the article, "speculation" could be directly attached to the article so it's not making things needlessly confusing, and at the same time pushing these kind of things into a nice neat pile, keeping the main article clean.--cong06 04:18, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- yeah, yeah, i got it. as i said, no need to make another tab for easter eggs and stuff - there's not enough of them in DF to be worth the hassle.
- @wandrew: imho, just link youtube or make a new "easter eggs'n'fun stuff" article. LLlaxmep 07:22, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
