A Shadow Ship
The means of transport favoured by the Dark People, helmed by a Shadowguide. Shadow Ships are perpetually shrouded in fog, to conceal their presence. They are famed for being able to reach terrific speeds. They were first seen in The Longest Journey, when April was brought from the ocean to Marcuria after visiting the Old God.
In Dreamfall when Zoë and April visit the Dark People's City, we discover that the Shadow Ships are seed pods from the city's massive trees.
