Release History[]
Book Five: Redux is the fifth, concluding part of Dreamfall Chapters. The episode's name was revealed in a Kickstarter update on April 6th, 2016. Following updates and tweets showed that parts of the very first chapter in Book 1 had been changed/reworked for this release. Finally on June 9th, a teaser trailer revealed Book Five's release date as June 17th, 2016. On that day, a full new installer of about 9 GB was uploaded for GOG customers at about 7:20 PM CEST. The Steam version lagged a few hours behind this time.
Length and Structure[]
Book 5 renders Chapters 12 to 13 with the fourth Interlude in between, and an Epilogue. It is around four hours long. With the release of Book 5, parts of Chapter One were altered, puzzles removed and gameplay streamlined.
