Once-great rulers of the Southlands, the Bakshevan Empire has crumbled for centuries - attributed by some to the events told in the Silver Spear of Gorimon.
Its two remaining cities are the western port of Monterba, and the eastern city of Altaban, which now serves as its capital and residence of the Parech. Monterba is ruled by a Mahk, who reports to and pays half the revenue from taxes to the Parech.
The ancient capital of the Bakshevan Empire, Gorimon, is lost beneath the sands of Ch'Angagriel.
